Summertime Fruit Crisp

Sometimes a home baked dessert just hits the spot, with vanilla bean ice cream on top, of course.

Apple Crisp


  • 6 apples
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter


Peel, dice, slice, spiralize apples according to your preference and place in a large mixing bowl.

Pour in the orange juice, sugar, and cinnamon, stirring well to coat the apples, then set aside.

In a separate bowl, add remaining ingredients together and stir with a wooden spoon/spatula until well combined.

Place apples in individual ramekins or casserole/pie dish coated with non-stick cooking spray. Drop/pat the crumble topping over the apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
