Fresh Green Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 7 cups tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 12 cloves garlic
  • 1 sweet green pepper, see below
  • 2 jalapenos, see below
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package salsa mix (available in the produce section of grocery store)

Method:

Peel and finely chop tomatoes. Drain tomatoes to remove excess liquid and combine with finely chopped onion and minced garlic. Seed and chop peppers, add. Squeeze the juice from 1 large lime and add. Stir in salt and salsa mix. Refrigerate to blend flavors and to keep until ready to serve. Serve with favorite chips.
