Kelly Lonnecker is thrilled to be back as a member of the Studio 5 family as the Creative Contributor. She has a long standing relationship as a creative mind for the show and was even a guest on the pilot show 15 years ago. She has a passion for making all of life’s special moments memorable and beautiful. Kelly loves to celebrate and believes that from invitations to thank you cards, an event can be both simple and stunning!
As a wife with a full time career, Kelly also understands the need for practical crafting. She strives to inspire busy crafters, budget minded crafters and even non-crafters to create in ways that are doable and enjoyable. She also believes that every person has a spark of creativity, just waiting to be lit. She loves empowering people to find that spark while creating something they love.
Kelly has enjoyed creating with various media since childhood. After college, she began using her design skills in a professional setting as the General Manager for the Heartland Paper scrapbook chain. It was there that she began teaching paper crafting classes. Throughout her time in the paper crafting industry, Kelly enjoyed teaching classes in various local locations around Utah as well as in South Africa. She has enjoyed growing her creative talents in remodeling her home. Tackling projects head on with her power tools, Kelly has loved seeing her little 1945 bungalow transformed into a modern cottage. She’s always dreaming of where her construction skills will go next!
In addition to finding joy in her creative talents, Kelly has a passion for traveling, being anywhere in nature, watching her garden grow, Friday night movies and adrenaline rushes. Above all her passions and pursuits, Kelly finds joy in her role as wife to an amazing husband and bonus mom to three incredible young adults. She always looks for the beauty in life and loves to create even more beauty in the world.
