12 Dogs of Christmas: Great Puppy Rescue


A new Christmas movie perfect for the whole family, and it was all shot in Utah! Danielle Chuchran, the star of 12 Dogs of Christmas: Great Puppy Rescue, tells us why the magic does not end with the movie.

What’s more fun than spending Christmas with furry, fun-loving “dogs” and dozens of talented children and young people in a Christmas spectacular? “The 12 Dogs of Christmas: Great Puppy Rescue,” Screen and Stage Spectacular is coming to Kingsbury Hall (1395 E. Presidents Circle) in Salt Lake City, December 7 & 8, 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $10-$25 all reserved seating, with 20% off select seats for families of six to ten. The public will get to enjoy an exclusive screening of the delightful, new family-friendly film (just released on DVD October 9) “12 Dogs of Christmas: Great Puppy Rescue” (rated PG), followed by a re-creation of the film’s finale live on stage in a spectacular Christmas showcase of music and dance. The stage show will feature more than 150 of talented young Utah performers as well as high school choirs and several local stars from the movie presenting their rendition of the song “12 Dogs of Christmas.”

The movie was shot entirely in Utah, featuring some of Utah’s brightest young talent. The festive tail follows 17-year-old Emma O’Conner (Danielle Chuchran) and her friends in their race against time and impossible odds to rescue the local puppy orphanage from an unscrupulous tycoon (Sean Patrick Flanery).
