Set your spring display under glass!
Gather your spring decorations and contain them in a cloche! These darling displays let you turn simple items into eye-catching centerpieces. Creative containers can become the vessel for the vignette.
Studio 5 Creative Contributor Michelle Crowley shared unique items she’s repurposed to make these miniature spring scenes.
The Formula for a Perfect Cloche Display
Begin With a Base
Start with a plate, tray or cake stand. Michelle finds it helpful to add a bit of foam to the base. This creates dimension and it gives us something to stick the flowers and picks into. She then covers the foam with moss, paper, or leaves from a stem of faux flowers.
Build a Scene
Add little pieces of the scene. Michelle recommended starting with the largest focal item first. For spring, this is likely going to be little lambs, bunnies, or chicks. Next, clip some little flowers and greenery to fill in the space.
Add Details
Michelle likes to make the scenes extra special by adding several little unexpected details.
Cover It
Containing the scene under a glass cloche can make it all even more special.
