Back to School for Moms and Professionals

Julie Johnson, the President of Argosy University’s Salt Lake campus explains more about the program.

With the ongoing need for continuing education, Argosy University (http://www.argosy.edu/locations/salt-lake-city) in Salt Lake announced another option for students to personalize their education. Along with the weekends and online classes, Argosy University is introducing “Fri-DAY U.” to assist the working professional, government employees who work a four-day week, and the stay-at-home parent, in finishing an undergraduate degree. This degree plan will feature a blended mix of online education and once-a-week classroom time.

“We really believe that if somebody wants to get an education there is a way to make that happen and Fri-DAY U. is one more option to facilitate the desire of potential students to earn their degrees,” stated Julie Johnson, Argosy University, Salt Lake City Campus President. “Our goal in creating the Fri-DAY U. program is to provide a way that working professionals, government employees and stay-at-home parents can get their educations without having to quit work, or be away from family and other responsibilities. This program truly will benefit all who attend.”

The Fri-DAY U. will begin September 9, 2010 and will allow students the opportunity to continue their busy lives while working towards a bachelor’s degree. In addition to this latest daytime offering, Argosy University also offers special assistance to eligible members of the military. Visit www.argosy.edu/military for further details.
