How to Make an Upcycled Candy Cane Wreath
Steps & Instructions
1-Buy candy cane form. We found our form from the dollar store.
2- Decide what color scheme you want.
3- Get your yarn from any craft store. Here are a few you can choose from: Hobby Lobby, Michaels or Joann’s. We bought our yarn from Hobby Lobby.
4- Wrap your base layer of yarn around the candy cane form starting at the bottom around 4-5 times. Stop and tie sections of your color yarn with a loose knot (about 2-3 inches thick) Then start again with your base layer yarn. Continue with these steps until you get to the end.
5- Tuck in chunky yarn throughout your candy cane to achieve a textured look.
Choose colors that represent you and your style. You can make it as simple or as detailed as you like. Don’t stress over placement, it’s supposed to be unique!
