‘The bigger the puff, the better!’ 5 spring dress trends to look for this Easter

We love a good spring dress!

For Easter this spring, women’s dresses are bringing on the charm with flirty fabrics, unexpected color combos, silhouettes… all that feels fresh and feminine. These are pieces that you will actually want to wear again. Whether you’re headed to church, brunch, or an Easter gathering, we are sharing the top trends to look for in an spring dress.

Jessica Christensen shared a few Easter dress trends that you can shop for this year.

Puff Sleeves

One of the standout trends this spring is puff sleeves. “Puff sleeves are everything this year,” Jessica noted, emphasizing that the bigger the puff, the better.

The romantic puff sleeves, combined with bold and vibrant prints, create a fresh and nostalgic look. “I feel like I’m in a field of flowers with the white blossoms,” Jessica described. A cinched waist with an embroidered sash adds a flattering touch, balancing the volume of the sleeves.

Light Pastels

Light pastels, like butter yellow, are another trend to watch. This pastel shade is perfect for spring. Jessica paired a pleated, tie-front butter yellow vest with a white skirt with bow details. The combination transforms a basic white skirt into something extra.

She suggested adding pops of red with jewelry and shoes to make the outfit stand out. “I love a pop of red pretty much with any color,” she said. She treats red almost like a neutral. It makes your outfits exciting and interesting.

The French Girl Dress

The French girl dress gives a touch of the French countryside. It has a square neckline, a bow, and a wallpaper floral print. “It’s just so quaint and beautiful,” Jessica emphasized. This style is perfect for an Easter brunch or church.

The square neckline is especially flattering for those with narrow shoulders or a fuller bust. “It draws attention to the collarbone and gives the illusion of a longer neckline,” Jessica explained.

Elegant Eyelet

Blue and white is a classic combination that never goes out of style. Jessica showed a dress with eyelet details and puff sleeves, making it perfect for more elegant occasions like weddings. “Blue and white is such a classy combination,” she said. “It looks good on everyone.”

Adding silver shoes gives this outfit a modern edge. The metallic shoe balances the feminine dress, creating a sophisticated and trendy outfit.

Perfectly Tailored

A good shirt dress with pleated details at the waist is a great piece to have in your closet. “ It takes it from shapeless to snatched with the waist,” Jessica explained. This style takes a basic dress and gives it shape, making it flattering for all body types. Jessica paired this look with a rattan bag and mesh shoes.
