Blueberry, White Chocolate, and Mascarpone Ice Cream with Honey grilled White Peaches

Blueberry, White Chocolate, Mascarpone Ice Cream:
1 1/4 cups whipping cream
1 1/4 cups whole milk
1 pint fresh blueberries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
4 oz Mascarpone cheese
3/4 cup sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 oz quality white chocolate, finely chopped

In blender or food processor mix cream, milk, blueberries, blackberries, mascarpone, sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Pour into ice cream machine, and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions. In the last five minutes add white chocolate.

Makes 1 1/2 quarts

Honey Grilled White Peaches:
4-6 ripe white peaches
Melted butter

Slice peaches into halves and remove pit. Brush flesh side with honey and butter. Place flesh side down on grill and cook 3 to 4 minutes. Remove skin if desired and slice. Serve with ice cream.
