It’s time to stop working out just to burn off treats.
You’ve heard it before, or even said it before – “I workout so I can eat this.”
Studio 5 Fitness Contributor Emily Nelson calls it the “burn-it-off mentality.” It’s when you feel justified eating a treat or a large meal only because you’re planning on burning off the calories in the gym. However, it’s time to leave those thoughts behind. Emily says that women need to start seeing food and fitness as two separate entities.
