Cajun Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce


1 pound medium-sized shrimp, peeled
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 cup cracker meal, finely ground
3 tablespoons Cajun spice
salt and pepper to taste

Toss the shrimp in flour, dip in egg wash (egg and milk mixed together), and then dredge in the cracker meal-Cajun spice mixture.

Deep fry in vegetable oil at 350 degrees for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown
Cocktail Sauce
1 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ pinch salt

Mix together the lemon juice with the dry mustard. Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
