Caramel Apple Milkshake

Fall treats aren’t usually cold, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be.

Wendy Paul shares this chunky milkshake recipe.
Caramel Apple Milkshake
4 cups Rich and Creamy Vanilla or Brown Sugar Ice Cream from 101 Gourmet Ice Cream Creations OR 4 cups Vanilla ice cream (your favorite)
1 1/2- 2 cups milk or coconut milk
1 cup apple pie filling
1/2 cup caramel topping, more for garnish
1 recipe chocolate ganache (below)
Assorted toppings of your choice
2 green apples, sliced
Tall skewers
Sprinkles
Cinnamon and sugar mix
Whipping cream
Parchment paper

In a blender, combine ice cream, milk, apple pie filling, and 1/2 cup caramel. Blend until you get the consistence you want, pulsing is best. Pour into 4 large milkshake glasses that have been chilled. Prepare your apple slices and garnish the milkshake. Garnish with assorted toppings, drizzle with more caramel and whipped cream and serve immediately.
Chocolate Ganache
1 cup heavy cream
12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips

Heat cream until almost boiling, and pour over your chocolate chips. Let it stand for 2 minutes. Stir to incorporate chocolate into cream. As the chocolate cools, it will become thicker. Use on ice cream, cakes, brownies, basically anything, including eating with a spoon!
