Conservation Garden Park: Water Conservation

The newly-expanded Conservation Garden Park provides more hands-on interactive exhibits that will show visitors exactly how they can landscape their yards to be a water-wise paradise.

Linda Townes with the park demonstrates two ways – making a compost pile and effective irrigation systems — on Studio 5

And as part of the grand opening weekend of its new expansion, Conservation Garden Park is hosting a mother’s Day Garden Fair on Saturday, May 9, from 9 am to 5 pm. Parking, admission and activities are free, so it is a venue for the whole family. They will have vendors selling the perfect gift for mom on Mother’s Day and experts on hand to answer any landscaping questions everyone might have. There will also be music, a clown, climbing wall, food, prizes and tours of the park.

The event is held at the Conservation Garden Park at Jordan Valley in West Jordan, 8215 South 1300 West. The event is free to the public. For additional information about the event, visit www.conservationgardenpark.org
