Easter Decor


EASTER TREE CENTERPIECE

Materials Needed:

Glass Cylinder or Vase

Tree branches to fill vase

Cardstock

Patterned Paper

Mini Bird Houses

Ribbon

Embellishments

Silhouette SD Digital Cutter or other die-cutting machine

Instructions:

1. Place tree branches in vase.

2. Wrap vase in patterned paper and tie with ribbon. Add die-cut grass around base if desired.

3. Cut scalloped circles from cardstock using die-cutting machine or circle cutter.

4. Cut various Easter shapes circles from cardstock using die-cutting machine or circle cutter.

5. Layer assorted Easter shapes onto scalloped circles.

6. Hang circles on tree with ribbons.

7. Decorate mini birdhouses with patterned paper, glitter, paint, etc. Hang on branches.

EASTER GARLAND

Materials Needed:

2 Sheets 12X12 chipboard (.60 each) cut into eight 5X5 squares

2 Sheets 12X12 pattern paper (we used WE-R Madame Royale) cut into eight 5X5 squares

Coordinating Cardstock

Silhouette SD Digital cutter or other die-cutting machine

Ribbon (2 yards)

Tulle (2 yards)

Buttons or other coordinating embellishments

Hole punch

Instructions:

1. Adhere 7 of the pattern paper squares to front of 7 chipboard pieces.

2. Using Silhouette digital cutter or other die-cut system, cut scalloped strips, lettering and die-cuts(eggs, bunnies, flowers).

3. Adhere scalloped strips to bottom edge of each cardstock piece.

4. Adhere EASTER letters and other die-cuts(flowers, eggs, bunnies) to top of pattern paper.

5. Embellish with buttons, etc.

6. Punch hole in the top corners of each chipboard piece. Tie pieces together with ribbon and tulle. Tie a long strip of ribbon and tulle to each end to hang.

“SPRING IS IN THE AIR DOOR” HANGER

Materials Needed:

Wood Plaque

Paint

Patterned Paper

Coordinating Cardstock

Ribbon

Silhouette SD Digital cutter or other die-cutting machine

Instructions:

1. Paint wood plaque. Drill holes in plaque for hanging if not already drilled.

2. Trace plaque onto background patterned paper. Cut paper to fit plaque. Adhere to plaque.

3. Using die-cutting machine, cut desired flowers and letters from assorted cardstocks and patterned papers.

4. Adhere die-cuts to background of plaque.

5. Tie ribbon around plaque and through hanging holes

6. Hang on door throughout the spring Season.
