Frosty Strawberry Squares
1c. flour
1 c. sugar
¼ c. brown sugar (packed)
2 c. sliced strawberries
½ c. chopped walnuts
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
½ c. melted margarine
1 c. whipping cream
2 egg whites
Combine flour, brown sugar, walnuts, and margarine.
Bake on cookie sheet at 350 for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle 2/3 of crumbs in bottom of a 9x13x2 inch
pan. Combine and beat at high speed with mixer the egg
whites (stiffly beaten), gradually adding sugar, 2 cups
strawberries and lemon juice. Whip cream and fold into strawberry
mixture.
Spoon over crumbs in pan and top with the remaining
crumbs.
Freeze for 6 hours.
