Throw a Galentine’s fitness party! Hosting ideas + a workout you’ll L.O.V.E.

Here’s how to host a fitness party.

Valentine’s Day is all about love and romance, but it’s also a great time to focus on friendship. If you’re thinking about hosting a Galentine’s party this year, mix things up with a party that gets everyone moving and feeling great.

Emily Nelson shared how to throw the ultimate Galentine’s event – fitness style.

“So many people are throwing Galentine’s parties, and we love an excuse,” Emily said. “Women love an excuse to get together as females and party.” Fitness is a built-in activity, and it also gets those endorphins flowing.

Fitness Activity Ideas

There are lots of ways you can incorporate fitness into your Galentine’s party. “You can do play on words like ‘Cupid’s Cardio Circuits’ or ‘Love Your Legs Lunge Circuit,'” Emily suggested. If you’re not confident in leading a workout, you could invite a favorite fitness instructor to host a private session.

You could also attend a scheduled class together and have an after-party. “You could book, like, a Pilates studio, one of those trampoline classes, aerial yoga, so there’s just so many different ways you can do it,” Emily shared.

Themes & Matching Outfits

Themes and matching outfits add a fun element to your party. Emily loves a good theme. She suggested, “Get off Amazon, or Target, or Walmart, you can all get matching tanks, or leggings, or whatever, or you can say, ‘everybody wear pink and red.'” Matching outfits boost the mood and make for fun photo ops.

Healthy & Fun Snacks

No party is complete without snacks. For a fitness-themed Galentine’s, consider healthier options that still feel indulgent. “A strawberry yogurt parfait could be fun. You got protein in there. It’s pink,” Emily suggested. You could also do veggie hummus platters, protein balls, and heart-shaped treats. The goal is to have snacks that nourish and make you feel good.

Adding a Gift Exchange

You could also add in a fitness-themed gift exchange. “Tell everybody, come with a gift, set a price range… and then make it fitness themed,” Emily advised. Gifts could be workout tops, self-care journals, or face masks.

Emily put together a fun workout you can do with your girlfriends. Just remember, L.O.V.E.!
