Gingered Cran-Blueberry Relish


3 cups Cranberries rinsed, and sorted
1 cup Blueberries rinsed
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup fresh pressed apple cider
1 tbsp chopped crystallized ginger
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Zest from 1 orange


Place rinsed cranberries in a large saucepan. Add sugar, orange juice, apple juice, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
Cook until sauce is thickened and berries have cooked down, about 15-20 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in blueberries, ginger, and orange zest.

Transfer to another bowl to cool.

Makes about 2 1/2 – 3 cups.
