Go Glamour With Your Gourds

Darin Engh, from Engh Gardens, shows us how to make a pumpkin get that same look.

These glamour gourds have been given a sparkling chic makeover, so they can be the spellbinding focal point of your fall decorating.

Directions:

• Spray pumpkins with silver or gold spray paint. Spray generously.

• Before silver/gold paint dries – spritz “spots” with a metallic brown spray paint on top of the wet silver paint, so both paints sort of blend.

• Let dry.

• Splatter metallic brown craft paint with a toothbrush for larger “spots”. (Tip – you can also tap the spots with your fingers to blend more.)

You can also use feather boas, masks, and rhinestone-encrusted pumpkins that add bewitching glamour to your holiday.
