Hair color Trends For Summer 2010

Thida Tran, from Studio H2O Salon, talks hair color trends for summer 2010.

Tips for determining your best Hair Shade:

• The best way to determine if you’re warm or cool is to take a look at the veins in your arms in natural sunlight. If the color is green than you are warm. If it’s blue than you are cool.

• To find out which color looks best on you never look at the swatch of the colors in the swatch book. Always determine how well the color would work on you by taking out the swatch and placing the actual swatch on your forehead. It’s amazing how you’ll notice that the color you think might be so pretty on the swatch is now maybe too red or too grey.

• The hot colors this season are rich solid colors accented with highlights. Women are turning to warmer tones like mocha browns, and dark caramels.

All the stylists at Studio H20 salon are trained to determine what cut and color best suits their clients. They take into consideration the shape of your face and your skin tones and consult with you about what cut and color will look best.

To stay current on the trends the stylists regularly attend seminars and hair show from New York to L.A.
