how to make a “Boo Garland.”

BOO GARLAND
Supplies Needed:
6- 12X12 heavy weight pattern papers for fan background. ($0.60-$1.00 each)
3-12X12 pattern papers to cover chipboard letters ($0.60-$1.00 each)
Large Chipboard letters (Making Memories used $0.99 each)
Decorations to dress up the garland
Ribbon for tying Garland
Stapler
Good Paper Adhesive
Scissors
Pencil
File or Sandpaper
Distress Ink if Desired
Directions:
Cut 6 background papers into 12- 6″ X12″ rectangles. Fan fold each strip in ½ inch folds. Attach four strips together using a stapler, then attach ends of the newly created long strips together (making a circle).
Trace large chipboard letters onto pattern paper. Using scissors, cut out drawn shape. Adhere cut out to chipboard using a strong paper adhesive. File or sand any rough edges or corners off of the chipboard letter. Distress with ink if desired.
Attach letter to front of fan using strong adhesive. Add embellishments and ribbons as desired. Hang vertically from door or horizontally below a shelf or mantle.
