Katelyn & Co. was created in 2006 by Kelly Wilcox. She was looking for quality hair bows and accessories for her daughter but couldn’t find what she really wanted. She decided to start her own business selling some of her favorite handmade products. She named her company after her daughter Katelyn Grace. After a little over a year, she and her mother, Sandy Stephenson became partners in Katelyn & Co. LLC and began running it as a full time business. They opened their first mall kiosk in November 2007, the second in February 2008 and the third in October 2008. They also sell at their online shop at www.katelynandco.com as well as internationally in department stores in Japan.
One signature product at Katelyn & Co. is their layered hair bow. With over 70 different color combinations, many of the bows are made with several colors to match many different outfits.
One of their newest products is their pettiskirts. They are made with 100% nylon chiffon and have an adjustable waistband so that it will fit a child for a longer time.
Another one of their new products is their new & improved car seat covers. The patent pending and copyrighted design features elastic at the back of the car seat so that it is not falling forward on the baby’s face. It is also reversible and machine washable.
