Eating better can be just a subtle shift in what you pull out of the fridge and pick up at the grocery store.



Suzy Fackrell has modified her own kitchen and her family’s diet in this way, and she shares three small changes that can make a big difference.


Pine Orange Lime Green Smoothie
Pine-Orange-Lime Green Smoothie
1 c. water
1 inch slice of fresh pineapple, rind removed (about 1 c.)
1 banana
1 orange, peel cut off
1/4 lime wedge, peel on
2 large handfuls of spinach
1-2 T. Barlean’s flavored fish oil swirls, lemon flavored
2 T. Flaxseed meal
1 c. ice
1-2 T. Raw Agave or 1-3 Stevia drops for sweetner, only if needed

Blend all the ingredients together except the ice & sweetener. Once the spinach and lime peel is totally liquefied and there are no chunks, add ice & blend well. If you would like it sweeter, add a little agave or Stevia drops. Enjoy!
