Snowman

Use a pencil to lightly mark two lines across the top of a white paper bag, 1½ inches and ¾ inches from the top. Glue red and black card stock shapes below the lower line for a hat, brim, and band. Add an orange paper triangle for a carrot nose and 5 ½-inch black paper circles for a mouth. Use two ½-inch circles for the eyes. You can add a small white circle or glitter to add a little sparkle to the eye. Glue any decorations you wish on the snowman’s hat. (I cut out two holly leaves and used 3 red pom poms for berries.) Let all of the glue dry completely, then place a small gift in the bag and fold along the dotted lines.

Reindeer

Use a pencil to mark a brown paper bag as shown. (The fold line is 3½ inches from the top.) Then, cut along the solid lines to create a rounded top and two separate teardrop ear shapes. Fold the bag (toward yourself) along the dotted line. Cut two antlers from dark brown cardstock. Glue an antler and an ear inside the fold on both sides of the bag. For the eyes, glue two googly eyes to the bag. (You could also use two small black paper circles glued on top of two larger white circles.) Glue on a large red pom-pom for a nose. Let all of the glue dry before placing a small gift inside. You may need double sided tape to stick the bag closed.

Christmas Tree

Use a pencil and a ruler to lightly mark a triangle on a green paper bag as shown. Fold along these lines, then smooth out the folds and lay the bag flat. Decorate inside the triangle with any decorations you wish (glitter, fake gems, and holes punched from colored card stock). Allow any glue to dry, then place a small gift inside the bag. Refold the bag along the creases and staple the flaps together at the top. Glue a yellow card-stock star to the top of the tree.
