Italian Sausage Soup


2 boxes (32 ounces each) chicken broth
2 cups julienne carrots
2 cups of frozen French style green beans
1 package (9 ounces) three cheese tortellini
1 pound pork sausage, browned and drained
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Pesto Sauce for garnish (optional)

Combine all ingredients except pesto sauce in a large pot; bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes. Add more water if necessary. Top with pesto, if desired.

Yield: 6 servings
