½ cup tomato juice
½ green pepper, cut in strips
½ red pepper, cut in strips
½ small onion, cut in strips
1 small Roma tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons dry mushrooms, cut in strips
½ teaspoon fennel seeds
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup red wine
¼ cup white wine
1 tablespoon fresh garlic, crushed
1 pound king crab legs, split, uncooked
12 26-30 shrimp, raw, peeled & deveined
1 teaspoon olive oil
In a sauce pan, over medium heat, combine all ingredients except crab, shrimp and olive oil and cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
In a sauté pan over medium heat, place olive oil and bring to temperature. Add shrimp and cook for 90 seconds. Add sauce to shrimp and cook for one more minute.
Steam the crab until hot, approximately 3 minutes. Divide crab into two large bowls and pour shrimp mixture over crab legs.
Serve with sourdough bread.
