“Christmas Remembered” is Kneaders’ newest gift basket and it is available in two sizes. The small basket comes in a vintage keepsake basket adorned with a festive ornament designed exclusively for Kneaders. It is then packed with a loaf of sweet bread, Hazelnut 12 Grain bread, Asiago Cheese bread, a fruit and nut wheel, a variety of candies, raspberry and black currant juice, a delicious apple butter spread and Wild Rice soup. The large basket comes in an even bigger basket and includes all of the treats found in the small basket plus an additional loaf of sweet bread, seedless black raspberry preserves, pineapple, additional candies and a handy cutting board.
Vincent also offered a few helpful tips on how to make lovely gift baskets at home.
“The first thing you’ll want to do is decide on a theme for your basket and select items to fill it with,” says Vincent. “When you arrange your items, it is best to put taller items in the back, medium items along the sides and smaller items in the middle. Sprinkling something small like individually wrapped candies, gives it a nice touch too. Generally, about two yards of cellophane is a good amount to wrap it in, give or take depending on the size of the basket. Place the basket in the center of the cellophane. Bring the shorter edges together first and then the longer edges. Gather, secure with a twist-tie and try not to fuss with it too much. The idea is to create a cellophane bouquet with petals varying is size. Finish your basket off by tying it with a nice ribbon or bow and a gift tag.”
