This dream lingered in the back of her mind through the years, through marriage, a move to Utah and the birth of her children. It was after her third child and a change of body when Trish decided to make that dream a reality. And so with the support of her husband Jeff, Trish went forward with the selffunded project. Without any major roadblocks standing in the way, the project progressed and Modbe was born. As Trish says, “One day we just woke up and we were doing it.”
The company started with caps and camis, made with the best material in bright, fun colors. The products took off in a big way, and the success became exponential. With the suggestions of customers, the line of products grew at a rapid rate, and soon the swim suits of which Trish had long desired became the core of the Modbe line.
Trish took a different approach to the business model, avoiding the cut-throat competitive nature of standard retail. Instead she created a party system, and by so doing built a community of consultants who supported each other in their success. Recognizing the pressures of raising a family and the importance of camaraderie among mothers, Trish knew that this system would help women look better, feel better and gain confidence. As Trish says, her goals are fulfilled each day. In fact the biggest problem Modbe currently faces is supporting its amazing growth.
