Preserving your 3-D Vacation Memories

Before these valuable memory triggers find their way to the trash can, try preserving them with one of these projects.

Name Photo Collage

Materials:

Name, wood, plastic, cardboard

Acrylic paints

Ribbon

Hot Glue

X-Acto Knife

Mod Podge

Cutting mat or something photos

Hot glue gun

Trinkets of anything that mean something to you.

Instructions:

1. Paint name

2. Cut down photos, a little larger than the place you are going to place it on the letter.

3. Mod Podge back of photo – attach to letter.

4. The goal is to cover your whole name with photos and stuff that ‘defines’ you.

5. Attach each letter together with ribbon and hot glue.

BOX OF MEMORIES

Materials:

X-acto Knife

Cigar Box 8″ X 8″

6″ X 6″ Post bound page protector’s

5 brass cup hooks

Acrylic Paint

Mod Podge

Scrap booking paper

Foam Brush

Embellishments, charms, sand, seashells, ribbon, stickers & photos

Instructions:

1. Paint boxes inside and out. Let dry.

2. Mod Podge top of box, place the whole sheet of paper on top, position quickly, smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles. When dry, using an x-auto knife to cut to size of box.

3. Place cup hooks to the inside top of the deepest side of the box.

4. Embellish the inside lid of the box with things you picked up from vacation.

5. In with the first photo, please a piece of scrapbook paper cut to fit the sheet protector. This will help add interest.
