When picking colors for outdoor wreaths, pots or furniture, think about contrasting colors. If you have a red brick house, you probably don’t want to waste your money on a red flower pot! Try a complimentary color like yellow, green or white. Bright colors are in!!

Don’t be afraid to “think outside of the crate”! Re-use and re-purpose old items giving new life to them and your outdoor space. This planter is an old $5.00 colander from a thrift store. A scrap of burlap, a few links of chain and some plants of your choice = a unique replacement for a $50.00 plastic pot that looks like every other one on the block.
Add Fun Furniture to Pull it All Together!
Quantity does not always equal quality… Larger items pack a bigger punch! Back away and try getting a “neighbors’ eye-view”.
