1 can (21 counces) cherry or apple pie filling
1 package (18 1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/3 chopped walnuts, optional
1. Place pie filling in a slow cooker.
2. Combine dry cake mix and butter (mixture will be crumbly).
3. Sprinkle over filling.
4. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired.
5. Cover and cook on low for 2 – 3 hours.
6. Serve in bowls.
