How to Make a Roberts Crafts Explosion Box
Get a 12″ by 12″ sheet of paper. Score every 4″ in every direction. Cut out of the four corners, so you are left with a cross shape.
Cut a 12″ by 12″ sheet into a 10 1/2″ square. Score every 3 1/2″ in every direction and cut out the four corners.
Cut a 12″ x 12″ into a 9″ square. Score every 3″ in every direction. Cut out 3 of the corners. Score on the dotted lines. Cut on the horizontal lines.
Lid:
Cut at 12″x12″ sheet into a 6″ square.
Score at 1″ on all 4 sides.
Make a 1″ cut on the solid lines, stopping at the dotted line. Attach the top, middle and bottom boxes layers by gluing the middle squares together. Fold at score lines and glue the corners of the lid together.
Embellish as desired.
