Seasoned Cheesy Bites
Ingredients
- 11 Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
- 7 mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
Directions
Cut each roll into 3 equal pieces. Cut each cheese stick into 5 equal pieces. Wrap a piece of dough around each piece of cheese to completely enclose and pinch tightly to seal. Dip each one in butter and roll in parmesan cheese.
Arrange stuffed dough balls onto a sprayed baking sheet in the shape of a tree using 2 for the trunk and 7 for the bottom layer of the tree. Place them about 1/2 inch apart. Continue up the tree using one less on each row. Cluster 3 around the top roll to make the star.
Bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and lightly brush with left over butter. Sprinkle with herbs.
Do you let these rise?
