If you’re looking for a way to honor our veterans and teach your family service, there’s a new opportunity in Southern Utah. The Southern Utah Veterans Home is opening in Ivins Utah and you’re invited.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will host a dedication ceremony for its new Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins, Utah. Following the dedication, community members may enjoy refreshments, tour the new facility, meet staff members, and discover volunteer and employment opportunities.
As a Green House model of care facility the new Veterans home is devoted to “resident-directed care”–a community-based environment designed around the unique needs, desires, and growth of each resident.
Terry Schow, Executive Director of the Utah Department of Veterans Affairs, will host the dedication proceedings.
