Studio 5 Trend Tracker Mindy Dunyon has some tips to mix and match color while staying in your comfort zone!
This Spring is great time to try new combinations and variations of hues that you wouldn’t normally put together.
TEAM UP WARM TONES
Try wearing reds, oranges and yellows of equal intensity together, like hot pink and marigold.
GO FOR PRIMARIES
Red, yellow and blue can make a very sophisticated look. But keep it from looking comical by wearing one shade only as an accent, like a bracelet or a head band.
OPPOSITES ATTRACT
Try wearing colors on the opposite end of the color wheel, like purple and yellow, rather than colors that are close together.
NEUTRALS ARE IN
This spring you’ll notice a lot of soft and neutral colors, like blush, sand and taupe. Details like ruffles and pleating will make pale hues pop.
SORBET COLORS ARE SWEET
Colors like yellow, rose and baby blue are chic and stylish.
