We’ve never had donut muffins, but with a name like that they’ve got to be good!
The muffin, or the donut – until now, you picked one to have for breakfast. Not anymore! This recipe combines these two tasty treats into one grab-and-go meal. Swirl some strawberry jam inside and your morning is complete!
Chef Nettie Frank shares how to make this sweet breakfast treat. There are a few ways to infuse your muffins with strawberry flavor: jam, of course, freeze dried strawberries, and one cut in half to top them off.

Strawberry Muffins
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 4 tsp. Baking powder
— In a large bowl combine ingredients, using a whisk.
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup butter melted
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 eggs
— In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, vanilla and eggs. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, stir until combined and smooth.
— Bake at 350 for 16-18 min.
