Valentine Pizza

1 can, 10 oz., refrigerated pizza crust
1/3 cup Alfredo sauce
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced (about)
3 canned artichoke hearts, quartered
2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
1 cup mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced into strips
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed (optional garnish)

NOTE: Ingredients are given for a creamy pizza. Ingredients may be substituted to create a more traditional pizza using toppings of choice.

Unroll pizza dough into a square. Create a heart-shaped template out of a paper towel or wax paper. Cut a smaller heart out of center – save small cut out for later use. Place large heart template on dough and cut out heart shape using scissors (do not cut hole in center of pizza). Place heart-shaped dough on cookie sheet and bake according to package directions.

Spread dough with Alfredo sauce. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Top with chicken and artichoke hearts. Neatly arrange slices of tomatoes on pizza. Place small heart cut-out, from center of template above, in center of pizza. Sprinkle cheese on pizza. Carefully remove heart shape, revealing red tomatoes. Arrange strips of red pepper around outer edges of pizza and around center heart to create a scalloped edge and define heart. Bake at 425 degrees for 7-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and pizza is heated through. Sprinkle with oregano.
