These adorable, handheld treats take your classic waffle and turn it into a portable, party-ready treat. Perfect for a birthday breakfast, weddings, parties, baby showers, or just a special weekend breakfast.
How Make Waffle Pops
- Prepare the waffle batter using the recipe below (or your favorite waffle mix)!
- Preheat your waffle iron—any shape works!
- Ladle in the batter filling each section about ¾ full.
- Place a popsicle stick into the batter and add extra batter on top of the stick before closing the waffle iron.
- Cook until golden brown and crisp.
- Serve with toppings and enjoy!

Classic Waffle Batter Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 Tablespoons white sugar (omit if making a savory waffle)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups warm milk
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
METHOD
- Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar together in large bowl. Preheat waffle iron to desired temperature.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in milk, butter, and vanilla.
- Pour milk mixture into the flour mixture. Beat well, until blended.
- Ladle the batter into a preheated waffle iron.
- Cook waffles until crisp and golden.
White Waffle Sauce
This creamy, sweet sauce is the perfect finishing touch for your waffle pops!
INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoons butter
METHOD
- In a small saucepan, whisk together the flour and sugar. Add the milk and set the stove heat to medium. Whisk until smooth and continue stirring or whisking frequently as it cooks.
- Continue cooking until the sauce begins to bubble and has thickened. Remove pan from the heat, add butter and vanilla and stir to combine. Drizzle sauce over hot waffles.
