Alisa Bangerter has spent years collecting and presenting fun and unique holiday ideas. She is the co-author of the year-round holiday idea book: Sweet Surprises for the Holidays and is currently working on several more idea books. She also has extensive teaching experience in areas such as family traditions, party planning, and creative food ideas. She worked for a number of years as a professional cake decorator. Alisa had the opportunity to do weekly cooking segments for KSL Television Noon News for approximately five years and has contributed recipes and ideas to numerous publications.
Alisa grew up in Centerville, Utah and is a graduate of Viewmont High School. She attended Brigham Young University and Northern Kentucky University where she graduated with degrees in biological science and nursing. She is married to Tim and is the mother of two teenage children (her favorite job!). Alisa is currently a PC Pro and on the editorial board for Paper Crafts Magazine. She has had hundreds of projects featured in paper crafting and scrapbooking publications and has done a variety of work for Fiskars. Her other hobbies and interests include, reading, gardening, playing the piano and photography.
