4TH OF JULY STYLE ON A BUDGET

Fourth of July Style: In Spirit and On a Budget

University Mall

Whether your family is going to a parade, fair, barbecue or fireworks show—or all of the above—the University Mall has Fourth of July fashions that will work for your whole family and won’t break the bank.

A few fashion tips to keep in mind:

• Don’t purchase patriotic clothing that can only be worn on the Fourth of July holiday. Look for classic red, white and blue patterns and pieces that can work all summer long.

• The Nautical look is very popular right now and the perfect way to display spirit, while still displaying style. You can take the nautical theme and translate it to fit your families Fourth of July look.

• While dressing in the colors of Old Glory, keep in mind the U.S. Flag Code states “The U.S. flag should not be made into an article of clothing.” While it is debatable concerning the extent to which this statement should be taken, just be respectful. An article of clothing that has red, white, and blue stripes, but not stars, is not generally considered to be the U.S. flag, but can still show your patriotism.
