Impress your friends and family with these FYI facts about snowboarder Faye Gulini.

FYI #1: At age 17, Faye was the youngest snowboard cross athlete at the 2010 Olympic games

FYI #2: She’s a three-time Olympian. She also wanted to be an Olympian before she even tried snowboarding. Some kids want to be princesses or firefighters. Faye wanted to be an Olympian.

FYI #3: She knows loss on a personal level. Her mom died in a car crash when she was 5 years old. She says she grew up really fast and learned to be independent and strong at a very young age

FYI #4: She volunteers at Wasatch Adaptive Sports: “The mission of Wasatch Adaptive Sports is to encourage individuals with adaptive needs and their families to realize their potential”

FYI #5: She is a newlywed! She got married in December.
