Chelsea’s Summer Food Bucket List

  1. Strawberry Shakes at Taco Amigo

Available at all Taco Amigo locations until the 1st week of August

Chelsea recommends catching these during strawberry season for that fresh, fruity goodness. It’s the perfect treat for a hot summer day when you need something refreshing!

 

  1. Frosted Peach Lemonade at Chick-Fil-A

Available at all Chick-Fil-A locations

Chick-Fil-A goes all in on peach season—and it starts early! Chelsea’s pro tip: try it frosted for an extra twist. Made like the chain’s frosted lemonade, soft-serve ice cream is added to make an extra creamy drink.

 

  1. Downtown Farmer’s Market

For all you fruit and veggie lovers, visiting a local farmer’s market is a must. Chelsea suggests hitting up places like the downtown farmer’s market in Salt Lake City, where you can find the freshest seasonal produce like corn on the cob and more.

 

  1. Burgers from Hi Mountain Drug

No summer food list is complete without classic burgers and hot dogs. Hi Mountain Drug in Kamas is Chelsea’s pick for a delicious burger experience, complete with old-school charm.

J. Dawgs is Chelsea’s go-to for a summer hot dog. J. Dawg sauce is a must!

Looking for something lighter? Lola’s Street Kitchen in Midway offers a refreshing watermelon salad that’s perfect for a sunny day. It’s a great spot to enjoy the summer vibes on their patio while indulging in fresh, seasonal flavors.

Trucks in Logan, Herriman, Orem, Provo, and Bear Lake

If you’re in the mood for something icy and sweet, Karie Ann’s Italian ice truck is the place to be. Treat yourself to customizable gelati or enjoy their famous Italian ice.

 

  1. Funnel Cake at the Utah State Fair or Days of 47’ Rodeo

Utah State Fair runs September 5-15. Days of 47’ Rodeo runs July 19-20 & 22-24.

Heading to a fair or rodeo this summer? Don’t forget to try a funnel cake loaded with strawberries, Nutella, whipped cream, and all the yummy extras. It’s a classic fair treat that you just can’t replicate at home.
