Whether you have younger children, older children, or are just by yourself, it is important to be sure you are prepared and ready to go.

Having a swim bag that is neat and organized can make going to the
pool a much more enjoyable experience for everyone.

A FEW QUICK TIPS:

• Have the bag ready the night before

• Have each child be responsible for their own bag (when age appropriate)

• Purchase a mesh bag, to allow water to drain.

• Separate sunscreen

• Always pack a plastic bag to separate the wet clothes from other items.

• Keep cell phone and other electronics in a water-tight container.

• Take care of swimsuit and towel immediately following swimming activity.

• Store swim bags in a central location; a hook in the garage, a cupboard in the mud room, etc.)

Each child should have their own bag to store their swimming gear in. The following is a list of necessary items to be sure to place in their or your bag. To be helpful it is broken down into three different categories; infant, child and adult.
