Being addicted to exercise can stem from body image disorders.

They say there is such thing as having too much of a good thing, and that idea even applies to exercise. It’s possible to have an exercise addiction. A medically reviewed article on Healthline defines an exercise addiction as, “… an unhealthy obsession with physical fitness and exercise and often a result of body image disorders and eating disorders.”

It’s important to note this idea is relatively new to the wellness world, and there is still more research that needs to be done.
