When it comes to real estate, there are some amazing deals on the market right now. But, at Busy Bee Realty we know that not every deal is the right deal for every buyer. Each individual buyer has specific needs and issues. If you’re a first time home buyer, you have from now until Nov. 31, 2009 to take advantage of an $8,000 tax home credit. This is a huge incentive to buy a home! And, there are some great deals out there right now on new construction homes and older homes, including foreclosed properties and short sell properties.

So, whether you’re a first-time home buyer, or a homebuyer looking to downsize or find a larger home, now is a terrific time to buy. With prices dropping in the marketplace, you can now get some amazing deals on homes for under $200,000 around the state. Believe it or not, many of these properties were originally priced between $300,000 and $350,000 before the market dropped.

In Vernal, there are properties available in West Park Village. These are 1,250 square feet two-story town homes. There are brand new homes available, as well as existing properties. West Park was first developed in 2007. At that time, homes there were selling for $176,000. Now, they’re running from $119,000 to $139,000. These town homes include three bedrooms, and one-and-a-half bathrooms. This is part of an HOA, so there’s no maintenance. These are excellent properties for first-time homebuyers or for investors looking for rental properties. These homes are adjacent to the new USU Vernal campus, so obviously, there could be a huge demand for these units as rental properties. The grand opening ribbon cutting for this campus is on August 7th 2009.

In Herriman, there’s a brand new development called Desert Creek. The first phase is under construction now, and lot reservations are being taken. These are single family homes, and measure approximately 2,000 square feet. There are three floor plans to choose from, and these include ramblers and two story homes. All of these have two-car garages. A year ago, these homes were selling for $330,000, and now prices begin at $199,000. There are currently about 85 lots available, and there are 17 lots being developed in the first phase. All of these homes have a great room, dining room, minimum of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as walk-in closets. There’s an unfinished basement in all of the homes.

In Brickyard Village in the heart of the Brickyard area at 1338 East Woodland Ave which is 3175 South , there are 30 condominiums available. All of these are two bedroom, one bathroom units, with laundry hookups in each unit. All of these are completely renovated with new cabinets, new appliances, granite countertops, tile floors, new water heater and furnace, light fixtures, trim and doors. One year ago, these listed for $159,900, now they’re starting at just $115,000.
