This cheese dip is a crowd pleaser!
It’s a gooey, cheesy, pumpkin party centerpiece. This seasonal dip is served inside a pumpkin for a fun and festive fondue!
Chelsea McPherson says it’s a tried and true tradition for her—someone always asks her for the recipe.
If you’re going to make this dip, you’ve got to go with real Gruyere cheese. “You want the deep, rich flavors that are found in imported cheese,” Chelsea said. “It’s known as the best cheese for baking because its flavors are so rich, but it also doesn’t overpower other ingredients.” Chelsea finds the best Gruyere price at Trader Joe’s or Costco.
Pre-bake your entire pumpkin for about 20 minutes so it’s easier to scoop out the seeds. Fill with your cheese dip, bake, and serve. Chelsea prefers to serve charcuterie-style with a variety of crackers, seasonal fruits, and lightly steamed veggies.
