Bride & Groom Candy Apples

Groom: Place a lollipop stick in the top of a small apple. Melt vanilla flavored almond bark and dip apple to coat completely. Let set until firm. Melt chocolate flavored almond bark and carefully dip back and sides of vanilla coated apple to create “tuxedo.” Gently rotate apple so chocolate forms a “v” in the front. Use a piping bag and a small round decorating tip to pipe buttons down the front. (Optional: adhere tiny chocolate chips for the buttons.) Tie a black satin or grosgrain ribbon on the lollipop stick to create a “bowtie.”

Bride: Place a lollipop stick in the top of a small apple. Melt vanilla flavored almond bark and dip apple to coat completely. Let set until firm. Using a spoon, drizzle the vanilla almond bark randomly over the entire apple. Tie a piece of white tuelle on the lollipop stick to complete.

Note: This technique can be used on whole strawberries instead of apples if desired.
