Brooke’s Favorite Baby Finds

After spending a couple of years in the “mom club,” Brooke has discovered her fair share of favorite baby finds.

She shared some of them with our special live studio audience, and wants to share them with you!

Copper Pearl Bandana Bibs

Copper Pearl was started in the summer of 2015 by two stay at home moms, Stephanie Lee and Kristen Reichert (with a little help from their awesome husbands). Kristin is a red-head (a.k.a. the “copper”) and Stephanie is a blond (a.k.a. the “pearl”). Both couples always had the dream of starting their own business, and when they realized the lack of trendy and modern baby bibs on the market they seized the opportunity to create Copper Pearl. Copper Pearl has since grown tremendously and is a leader in the baby textiles industry. In addition to their popular bandana bibs, Copper Pearl now makes multi-use covers, crib sheets, washcloths, swaddle blankets, hooded bath towels, and more.

Copper Pearl bandana bibs feature custom and unique designs that are trendy and fashion-forward. The front of the baby bibs is a stylish knit fabric and the back is a super soft fleece that keeps your baby completely dry even with the “drooliest” of babies. They fit ages 3-36 months and are perfect for teething babies or as the cutest finishing touch for any outfit.

Freshly Picked Moccasins

Susan Petersen started making baby moccasins in 2009 after becoming frustrated by the lack of well-designed baby shoes. Using her second child, Gus, as a mocc-tester, and a bag of scrap leather she picked up at a yard sale, she began experimenting with designs. Working at her kitchen table, on a shoestring budget, Susan persisted through several attempts until she had created a pair of moccasins that not only looked adorable on Gus’ chubby little feet, but stayed on his feet as well.

Since then the moccasins have gone through about six design changes. Each change has perfected the look and the fit of the soft-soled shoe. The moccasins you purchase today are durable, well designed, and most importantly: stay on your child’s foot.
Money was tight at the time Susan started and in order to earn money to start her business she got resourceful. Her brother owns a window installation business and in the summer of 2009 she convinced him to let her keep the old windows that he was removing from the houses. She spent a whole summer banging the glass out of the windows because they were encased in aluminum frames. At the end of the summer she took the aluminum window frames to the scrap yard and recycled them to get money. She made $200 dollars and with that literal sweat equity, she started her business.

Each pair of moccasins, whether being shipped to the rich and famous, or shipped across town, are made with care, perfection and a love for the little feet they are intended for.

A Little Lady Bows

Marie Green is a mother by day and a bow maker by night. A Little Lady Shop began when she wanted headbands for her first daughter four years ago. Marie bought and experimented with different materials and came up with a few basic designs. With extra material, she soon opened up an Etsy shop to see if any of the bows would sell. The designs were well received and since then, A Little Lady Shop has sold thousands of headbands and has been featured in Cupcake Magazine Spring 2014 issue, Little Baby Garvin blog, Cleverly Yours fashion blog, The Ivory Lane fashion blog, Sweet Little Peanut blog, Moms Best Network, on NBC’s sitcom Growing Up Fisher, and their designs have even been spotted on Drew Barrymore’s little Frankie.

Tubby Todd Bubble Bath

Tubby Todd is an all-natural bath company based out of San Diego. We created Tubby Todd as a natural solution to heal our family’s sensitive skin. For years we struggled with dryness and eczema, and smooth skin always seemed impossibly out of reach. It was frustrating spending money on yet another product that wasn’t helpful, clean, or safe for my little ones.

Out of those discouragements came a drive and passion to create my own clean, plant-based bath products, and founder Andrea Williams spent years developing and testing them on her family. We’ve since grown Tubby Todd into an entire line of 100% natural products that have worked miracles for our family and became the solution Williams had been looking for all those years. Tubby Todd is all about good, clean fun for the whole family. Each and every bath product is made with 100% natural ingredients that are simple and safe. We created Tubby Todd with sensitive-skinned babies in mind, and each product works hard to nourish, hydrate, and gently soothe skin from head to toe. Tubby Todd bath products are powerful and impressively effective, but are gentle enough for even the tiniest newborns. After a spaghetti disaster or a messy day on the playground, Tubby Todd bath products give you a fresh new start.
