1 large cabbage
2 medium carrots
1 large onion
Finely chop these three ingredients.
3/4 cups vinegar
1 Tbl. salt
1 Tbl. celery seed
3/4 cup oil
1 1/2 cups sugar
1. Bring vinegar, salt, celery seed, oil and sugar to a boil.
2. Pour hot mixture over vegetables.
3. Cover with a plate or lid and set on counter.
4. When cool, store in refrigerator.
Will keep two weeks or longer
