Pastry Twists for the Holidays!
Flavors:
- White Chocolate Peppermint
- Iced Chocolate Nutella Almond
- Vanilla Iced Raspberry Marzipan
- Vanilla Orange White Chocolate
Recipe: White Chocolate Peppermint Twists
- Heat oven to 400 degrees
- Line two baking sheets with parchment
Ingredients
- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- Lindt White Chocolate Bar, grated
- Crushed peppermint
- 1 egg + 1 tbsp water, beaten
- Crystal sugar
- *Vanilla Glaze
Directions
Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Set aside.
On a lightly floured board, roll 1 sheet of pastry to flatten any seams. Cover with a thin layer of cream cheese mixture. Evenly sprinkle grated white chocolate over the top. Place the other sheet on top. Pressing lightly. Cut short-wise with a rolling cutter in half. Then again to make four even sections. Then again to make eight. Take each piece and twist. Lay about 2 inches apart on the baking sheets. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sugar. Bake 12-15 or until golden brown. Drizzle with icing when almost cool.
*Glaze:
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup confectioners
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions
In a small bowl, whisk sugar, butter, milk and vanilla until smooth. Glaze while slightly warm.
