Christmas Cash at Kid to Kid

Trade your old stuff in at Kid to Kid stores for cash or store credit. Then use
that cash or store credit to buy gifts, or help a family in need.
Shauna Sloan talks about the cool charity connections at Kid to Kid, and how
you can also walk away with quick holiday cash.

Kid to Kid purchases all sorts of items including freshly cleaned toys and
building toys, books and learning toys, baby gear, shoes and boots. Kid to
Kid also accepts clothing including last year’s Easter and Christmas outfits,
school clothes, dancewear, coats, hoodies and even costumes. You will earn
more for your clothing at Kid to Kid when you bring it in freshly laundered,
laid flat in a laundry basket.

“Kid to Kid can’t buy everything,” says Sloan. “We’re looking for clothes that
are currently in style and in great condition. We pride ourselves on filling our
racks with the styles and brands that our customers would find in a mall.”
At Kid to Kid, you can also sell your used items and set up an account for a
needy family.

“You don’t need to be rich to feel the joy that comes from sharing with those
who are less fortunate,” says Sloan. “Setting up an in-store account for
someone when you sell your items is like buying them a gift card, but even
better. When you sell items and choose to receive store credit instead of
cash, an additional 20 percent will be added to the total. Just let a Kid to Kid
employee know, and he or she can create a store credit account for a friend,
neighbor or family that you have decided to provide Christmas gifts for.”
Kid to Kid also sells gift certificates and offers 10 percent off all purchases of
Sub-for-Santa or Angel Tree gifts.

Kid to Kid stores will also be celebrating the historic date of 11/11/2011 this
Friday. Mention Studio 5 and you will get 11 percent off of your entire
purchase price. Kid to Kid will also have drawings on the 11th minute of
every hour, with the biggest drawing being at 11:11 a.m.

The first Kid to Kid store opened in Sandy, Utah in 1992. There are currently
